The
Dying Time : Practical Wisdom for the Dying and Their Caregivers
by Joan Furman, David McNabb
I have worked as a hospice chaplain the last several years. One of
the areas of ministry that can always use more thought and
understanding involves the end of our lives. This is a great book
from my field of expertise. It is a practical guide to what happens
to a person and their family as the person moves from finding out
that they are dying, through the dying process and on through the
stages of grief the family will experience after their loved one has
died. It is a good reference for clergy, lay ministry and families.
