We've arrived. . . .
. . . We've got our shirts. . . .
 . . . We know the drill. . . .
. . . We're ready for Junior II camp!
The weather's blessedly cool, but still the pool feels great.
We danced in praise to God and made a camp banner.
Don't worry folks, we're pretty sure it washes off.
God is great and so are we!

Tuesday
Our day begins with a worship circle in the cabin area.
We're a very crafty camp!
Camp Friends Forever!
We practice listening to each other as we master an activity on the Challenge Course.
Like Jesus' first followers, we walk a dusty road.
We played water games this evening--look how far we can toss and catch water balloons!
In the water balloon relay, the race goes not to the swift, but to those with easily broken balloons!
We launch a balloon in water balloon volleyball.
Some of us had our first canoe rides this afternoon on the waterfront at Camp Christian!

Wednesday
We made collages picturing people and things we love.
We love the "Shark Song"!
"I will make you fishers . . ." of fish?!
We cooperate and, er, compete a bit at the Challenge Course.
The Baconaters, one of our small groups, meet on Peachtree Lodge porch.
The Hot Burritos plan tonight's vespers.
We flipped at how talented we are during Camp Christian Idol.
During vespers, we remember our Lord.

Thursday
The shaded picnic tables are a popular place to work on crafts during pool time.
Despite some summer sprinkles, we were able to have our cookout and campfire this evening.
God made marshmallows, graham crackers, and milk chocolate for this.
Got s'more?
Wow, this fire is hot!
Are they lifting marshmallows in praise to God, or auditioning to be lightning rods?
S'more? No, I believe I've finally had enough.
We're all about saying a great big "Yes!"

Friday
Friday morning.
Time for our final Friendship Circle.
Behold, Junior II camp has been good.
We heard that God welcomes us . . .
 . . . listens to
us . . .
. . . has compassion for
us . . .
. . . and loves us.
Now we go to welcome, listen, show compassion, and love in God's name!
And to dream of camp next year. . . .
