See all the photos from the workdays below

On February 24 those who gathered worked in the cabin area blowing and raking leaves away from the cabins, cutting up trees and removing some of the limbs in the labyrinth and completing some inventories. Volunteers came from Columbus Central (2 & 1 toddler), Lawrenceville First (2), New Hope Lawrenceville, Regional (1), Valdosta (1 & 3 children) and Winder First (1). Total of 12

During March volunteers came at various times and replaced the ceiling fans on Woodland Porch, replaced the shower curtains in Woodland, replaced light bulbs in Woodland, and replaced the ceiling fan, screen door and steps on the Lawrencevilla. Those volunteers represented Lawrenceville First (2 and a friend), Regional (2 & Tommy), and a Retired Minister’s wife. Total of 7

April 2-3 Spring Break “Work & Fellowship at Camp” volunteers from Lawrenceville First (5 adults and 4 Youth) completed inventories, organized the craft room & the Recreational/ Canteen room, cleaned out the closet in Peachtree, washed windows in Woodland and the Peachtree meeting area, put together blades for ceiling fans so they were ready for installation in the 3 other villas.  Total of 9

April 5-6 Regional DMF Team gathered for a meeting and also to do some work.  They installed the ceiling fans in Gainesvilla, God’svilla and Windervilla, cleaned ceiling fans and light fixtures in Woodland, put up rope lights on Woodland Porch and some other housekeeping tasks. Volunteers represented Augusta Central (1), Griffin First (1 & spouse), Newnan Liberty (1 & spouse),  Ray of Hope(1) and a retired minister.  Total of 7

April 21 volunteers gathered and completed many tasks. One was to pick up pine cones and limbs from the volley ball area to the lakeside worship and to Woodland so that the grass could be cut. Weed eating along the dam side of the lake and in front of the cross, around Lavery, the pool and other close by areas, was completed as well as spraying the volleyball court, around the pool and one of the rock gardens.  Shutters were repaired and replaced as well as other repairs that were needed as the workers found them.  Trash cans and dustpans from the cabins and villas were washed. Inspections to make sure electricity and lights worked in the cabins and villas so needed repairs/replacements can be completed before camp.  The tables in Lavery were scrubbed and clean and ready for camp. More work was completed in the labyrinth.  All the trees have been cut up and some of the wood removed.  Hope to remove the remainder at the next work day.  Several of the clumps of very small trees have been cut and ready to be removed. Volunteers came from Chestnut Ridge Christian Church (8), Columbus Central (1), Lawrenceville First (1 adult, Youth & child), New Hope Lawrenceville (2), Regional (2 adults, 6 children & youth) and Winder First (1).  Total of 23

Work days thus far have had 58 volunteers.  Several attended more than one time.  We appreciate all those who have helped us this winter and spring.
