Stewardship in the Midst of Uncertainty - Clergy ZOOM -
Sept 10th, 7pm
Over the years Rev. Dr. Bruce Barkhauer has come to Georgia annually to talk about vision, planning and resources. This year is no difference in his commitment to share with the Georgia Region. However, the circumstances of our churches may be difference for some and may require creative insight on how to manage and cultivate resources.
Thursday September 10, 2020, Bruce will john us at 7:00 pm to talk about stewardship skills and strategies during a pandemic where creativity and flexibility is needed. Please see the registration link below and place the event on your calendar. We hope that both clergy and lay will attend this event.
Also please see the attached documents. Last fall we sent an annual fund strategy document to every church; the document attached represents a simpler version of some things that you can put in place now. Bruce has also provided a curriculum for adult bible studies.
We hope to see you on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Thank you for your partnership.

Clinical Pastoral Education
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is a valuable professional development opportunity for clergy and religious leaders serving in congregations or community ministry organizations. If you or those you support would like to deepen skills in interpersonal communication, grief support, crisis care, caring for people from diverse backgrounds or explore chaplaincy as a ministry vocation, CPE is for you!
Emory Spiritual Health offers many levels of CPE at various Emory Healthcare facilities which you can learn more about by visiting our website at www.emoryhealthcare.org/spiritual-health/. Those interested in CPE begin with an intern CPE unit. Currently we are interviewing for intern units which begin in January at our newest CPE site, Emory Decatur Hospital (formerly DeKalb Medical) and also at Emory University Hospital (Decatur) and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital (Sandy Spring). You may apply by completing an application found on our website and email the application to email@example.com. A flyer with details is attached to this email. If you have questions about CPE or completing an application, please call me at (404) 501 - 5149 or email at EJACK30@emory.edu.
Please share this information in your denominational or faith group communications or pass on to individual clergy who may be interested.
