Disciples from all over
Georgia gathered on a dreary but Spirit filled day of service on Halloween - Saturday,
October 31, 2009. This was the third year, that Disciples from many
different congregations converged on the
City of Refuge in Atlanta. The event, organized by Rev.
Nancy Oliver of
Peachtree Christian Church, included a wide range of service including a health fair,
Hot dogs,
assembling of hygiene kits and sandwiches, and a Carnival with all kinds
of fun for the neighborhood kids.
