Grace at the Table (Part II):  Revisioning Race in God's Beloved Community

On October 14, 2018, the Georgia Commission on Reconciliation will host the “next steps” event in anti-racism/pro-reconciliation training.  The event is designed to take us further in our pro-reconciling efforts, and to give us practical, real tools that we can use in our local congregations.

This educational event will be facilitated by Pastor Lee Jenkins of Eagles Nest Church in Roswell, GA.  Pastor Lee has extensive experience in leading anti-racism conversations in the church as well as in the larger community.  He and his team have graciously agreed to partner with us in this endeavor.  Pastor Lee will lead us in one hour of anti-racism education, followed by a time of Q&A.  A light meal will be served.

The seminar/webinar will be live-streamed on the Region of Georgia's Facebook page for those unable to travel to Tucker.

Please click below to register for the event.  There is no cost to you, however, we do need a headcount of those attending live so we can prepare a light meal.

If you are passionate about relationship-building and creating God’s beloved community, then you will not want to miss this opportunity!  You are welcome at the table!
