Dr. Ray Miles called as Regional Minister
In Extraordinary Assembly at First
Christian Church, Macon on April 16, 2005, the delegates present
unanimously called Dr. Ray Miles to be the Regional Minister of the
Region of Georgia.
The call of Dr. Miles completes a year-long process by the
Search Committee, which was chaired by Bob Alvarez, a member of Iglesia el
Aposento Alto in Jonesboro. Other members of the committee were: Rev. David
Everton, Dr. Cynthia Hale, Kathy Howell, Dr. Jeannie May, Steve Shewmaker, and
Rev. Barbara Sims-King.
Dr. Miles will begin his ministry in
Georgia on June 1.

Robert gave a report on the process of the Search then called forward the members of the search committee (seen here) to speak about their selection.

Following his unanimous call, Dr. Miles was asked to say a few words.
