Cultivating Gardens
At district-wide spring garden parties,
Georgia Disciple women rooted themselves in prayer and relationship with
one another and God. Through worship and table fellowship, they
discovered resources for growing their “spiritual gardens.” Each party
was graced by the presence of Women’s Commission members and special
guest Delores James (our 2004 Woman-to-Woman representative to Kenya) or
Phyllis Byrd (our global mission partner serving in Kenya). The gracious
and creative event hosts were Chattahoochee, Columbus Central, Eastman
First, Waycross First and Watkinsville First.
