Highlights of CWF Retreat

About 180 women in Georgia took a journey on the "The Road Ahead" seeking answers about the choices that God desires each of us to make in our lives.  Patti Case, Editor of The Disciple magazine, took us on a journey of growth, nurture, and support.

In addition to being blessed through song, prayer, the messages, and workshops, CWF was also blessed through giving.  The woman-to-woman project and Aid to Children of Imprisoned Mothers (AIM) will share the Sunday offering in the amount of $1,627.  The Blessing Box dedication which is sent to BMF amounted to $9220.

The women were also blessed through the offering of 12 workshops that featured 12 dynamic women.  They delved into the lives of biblical women, investigating the crossroads in their lives and the resulting decisions they made.  Surely women went away not only having experienced the very presence of God but also gaining clarity on God's will for their lives.

You do not want to miss next year's retreat.  We will keep you posted as plans develop.  So mark your calendar right now!  Year 2001 Georgia Retreat will be October 12-14, 2001.

In the meantime, if you have any suggestions, ideas, concerns, and joys around the state of Georgia that you wish to share, please let the Commission know.  You can send your information to the Regional Office by clicking HERE.
