2009 Fall Northwest District Fall Rally

The men of the Northwest district
gathered at the Community Christian Church in Fayetteville Georgia for
their annual Fall Rally. Opening music was provided by the
Fellowship of Love Choir, an inspiring rendition of praise music by this
group that also meets in the Community Christian building.
Following a welcome from Pastor Jim
Lindskoog, President Will Purdue made announcements and then led the men
in a cheer - a feature for which he is becoming famous!
Rev. Ray Miles, Regional Minister then
gave an update on news around the Region followed by a group sing.
During the offering, $240 was collected,
designated to help victims of the recent flooding in Georgia.
The message, from Rev. Byron Wells of
Chestnut Ridge Christian Church was on Church Renewal. Byron
challenged us to service in the name of the Lord by pointing out that
thriving congregations move outside themselves into service for their
community.
After a closing service, lunch was served
by the Ladies of Community Christian. Be sure the view all of the
