Provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.

Women are invited to share the Good News through:

Worship
for spiritual growth and renewed discipleship
Bible Study
for greater knowledge, understanding and service
Issue Study
for action and advocacy
Mission Study
for knowledge, understanding and acceptance of others

Service / Action
for hands-on / personal involvement
Fellowship / Networking
for building faith community with other women

for service to God in the church, the community and the world

  • Spring Women's Conferences a big hit! - See the photos from the conferences at:
  • Martha Faw - passed away on March 5, 2013.  A member of Friendship Christian Church and a strong leader in Disciple Women's work, Martha will be greatly missed.  Memorials can be made to Friendship Christian Church or to Georgia Disciple Women's fund.

  • Foreverfamily - In honor of their 25th anniversary, is proud to release its Worship Resource Guide. Written by Howard University School of Divinity professor Reverend Dr. Dean Trulear, this worship resource is designed to assist clergy and lay leaders in planning and executing worship services that recognize God’s care for the incarcerated and their families.

  • Community Partner Award - The Women’s Ministry of the Disciples of Christ in Georgia will receive the Community Partner Award from Foreverfamily, Inc at the 25th Anniversary Gala on September 15th at the Marriott Marquis. 
     
  • Quadrennial 2014 - It was announced at the 2011 General Assembly in Nashville that Quadrennial 2014 will be held in ATLANTA and the Marriott Hotel downtown.  Check back for more information!!!
