Reverend Tom Money was presented a lifetime achievement award by Joe Austin, northwest district Georgia Menís representative, at Johnís Creek Christian Church on Sunday, August 8th, 2010.

This award reflected many years of faithful service to Disciples Men in Georgia as well as to local, regional, and national Disciples units and various organizations. Tom has been involved with both menís retreats and rallies in different capacities.

After graduating from both Transylvania University and Lexington Theological Seminary, he has served congregations in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Georgia. He has served as pastor to Peachtree Christian Church, Peachtree Corners Christian Church and served as an interim or supply preacher to a host of others. Tom has been a member of several boards including the Georgia Region, Pension Fund of the Christian Church, Lexington Theological Seminary, Week of Compassion, General Board of the Disciples, and Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasting.

Tom is now retired but continues to fill the pulpit, enjoy his growing family, and write detective novels.
