Retreat Leader

Marylin WilliamsMarilyn Williams, keynoter, is President of International Disciples Women’s Ministries.  She is immediate past president of the National Convocation Disciples Women and a former moderator of the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and attends Covenant Christian Church in Cary.  Marilyn is a registered dental hygienist.  Women who attended Quadrennial Assembly 2014 were blessed by Ms. Williams’ portrayal of the Canaanite woman during a morning plenary session.  A mother and grandmother, Marilyn is full of energy and filled with the Spirit.  She looks forward to sharing her dramatic portrayals of Biblical women and to being in fellowship with her sisters in Georgia.


Retreat Musician

Rev. Ann HainesRev. Ann Haines, Retreat Music Leader, has served as musician and worship leader at events throughout the Southeast and Capitol area.  She serves as pianist at St. Andrew Christian Church in Macon and assists in evening worship at local community churches. She plays piano, guitar, French horn, and drums.

Rev. Haines has served in multiple capacities on the DW Ministries Commission, including President.  She has a heart for ministry, and she leads with faith-filled enthusiasm and joy.    She recently retired after 25 years of working with the Georgia Farm Bureau.


Disciples Girls' Program Leader

Teresa BenschTeresa Bensch, Disciples Girls’ Program leader for retreat,  is president of Bensch Consulting, LLC. Ms. Bensch works in K-12 schools throughout the Southeast as a mentor, coach, and trainer of Teacher Effectiveness.  She is an active member of Sandy Springs Christian Church where she enjoys working with Children Worship and Wonder as well as participating in the youth Mexico Mission Trips.  She recently co-directed Junior I Camp at Camp Christian.

Teresa is dedicated to the spiritual growth of children and youth.  She also finds joy in working in Women’s Ministries and helping women understand their intrinsic value.
