If
you are serious in trying to figure out if a career in ministry is for you - there
is no one better to talk to than your Minister. After all, they know you,
and they certainly know ministry.
The best way to do this is to make an appointment. You might
ask your minister over for dinner or you might meet in their office after Church.
But however you approach the talk, its important to have privacy and some time to
get into a deep discussion.
And be sure you have "done your homework" first. You'll
get a lot more out of the conversation if you have already thought deeply about
it, prayed about it, and spent some time on this web site researching ministry as
a vocation.
You may find your minister's e-mail or phone number on the
Our Congregations page or the
e-mail list
at the Disciples of Christ web site. If you don't have a minister or would
just like to talk to someone else, drop us a message using the
Contact Us form, and we will help you make arrangements
to find and meet with a minister whose interests in ministry and personality match
your own.
