All are Invited to the Table

The Table in Warner Robins, GA, may be located in the First Christian Church building, but it is a new church, rebranded, replanted, and renewed in its ministry and mission, with Pastor Jordan Williams currently serving as the lead pastor. The new birth began in June 2021 after three months of prayer and fasting. The name Table Church, or just The Table, was chosen because it “reflects the kind of church we want to be,” a place where people can connect and feel that they belong. “Important conversations, meals that we share, take place around a table. Wherever you are you have a place a The Table.” 

The church has focused in on the mission of serving persons who are struggling with homelessness, and was a leader in the community in opening a warming center during cold months for a couple of years, which offered meals and snacks, a warm place to sleep, and showers. Other recent ministry has included partnering with a local hospital, Houston Healthcare, to provide a community health fair, including free screenings and resources. Currently the church hosts a blessing box, a miniature food and resource pantry on the corner of their parking lot that is free and open 24/7, as well as continual outreach to persons experiencing homelessness.
